Thanksgiving is almost here! The children are reading stories and learning about the Pilgrims and Indians. We will celebrate Thanksgiving by having our own Thanksgiving Feast in school on Monday, November 23rd. We will be eating a "traditional" Thanksgiving Feast with all the trimmings. The children will wear a Pilgrim or Indian costume to the feast which we will make in school. Our feast will begin at 9:45am on Monday and will last about an hour. All parents are welcome; please let me know if you will attend. To celebrate our feast in a “traditional” way, I have asked each parent to bring in specific items to be prepared in school. Please see the attached note, if you have any questions, let me know. If you would like to help on the day of the feast, let me know as well. Happy Thanksgiving!
